Polish companies ready to invest in Iranian oil, gas fields

Tehran, May 8, IRNA – An Iranian official here on Sunday voiced Poland's willingness to make investment in Iranian oil and gas fields.
A director for research center at National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Mohammad-Ali Emadi said the Polish officials have negotiated with NIOC expanding small and medium oil and gas fields in the Islamic Republic.
Pointing to the Polish companies' experiences in North Sea, Emadi reiterated that these European companies enjoy proper potentials for developing the Iranian oil and gas fields.
Today several high-ranking Polish officials toured the 21st International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition that started its work on May 5 for four days.
Near 2,000 companies from Iran and 38 world countries have attended Iran Oil Show this year.
The exhibition is the first international oil show being held in Iran in the post-sanctions era.
Anti-Iran sanctions were lifted on January 16.
