A sum of 2.3 million tons of bitumen were exported in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018).

A total of 2.381 million tons of bitumen worth $561 million were exported in the first eight months of the year, Alireza Dashtani, customs inspector of the southern province of Hormuzgan said in a local ceremony.

He said that the bitumen was exported to India, Kenya, Oman, the UAE, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Turkey and Sri Lanka.
