Tehran, Dec 13, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Jaberi-Ansari in a meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf Bin Alawi discussed ways to develop cooperation and latest regional and international issues.

Jaberi-Ansari is currently on a visit to Muscat to attend the Fifth Meeting of Joint Committee of Iran-Oman strategic-Political Consultations.

He said that Oman is a good neighbor for Iran and hailed the two countries' ties as a successful model for other regional states.

He commended constructive role of Sultan Qaboos to help restore stability and security in the region.

Bin Alawi, for his part, commented on the new regional and international developments, hoping that Tehran-Muscat relations will improve in light of proper management of the two countries' officials.
