Brussels, March 14, IRNA – EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said Monday she will go to Iran next month to build on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to end the 12-year nuclear dispute between Iran and the western governments.

IRNA reporter in Brussels said that Mogherini visited Iran last July shortly after world powers -- Britain, China, France, the United States, Russia plus Germany -- agreed to lift sanctions on Iran.
'My next visit will take place on the 16th of April,' she said as she went into a meeting of EU foreign ministers.
'We will discuss with the ministers on which grounds, on which issues and sectors to re-engage so as to reopen full relations with Iran,' she said.
The European Union foreign policy chief visited Iran last July to build on the momentum and review deterioration of humanitarian crisis in Syria.
She said that the EU expects the Islamic Republic of Iran to help resolve the Syrian and other regional conflicts.
