Iran test-fires new missiles

Tehran, March 8, IRNA – In the final stage of 'Velayat Strength' drills staged in several parts of the country on Tuesday, Iran test-fired new missiles.

New generation of ballistic missiles named 'Shahab' and long-range and precision pin-pointing missiles named 'Qadr' successfully hit the targets. Velayat Strength drills were aimed to show Iran's deterrent power and readiness to thwart any threat against the Islamic Revolution and Iran's territorial integrity. Shahab 1 and 2 missiles and Qadr F and H were the missiles test-fired in these war games.
