Polypropylene Copolymer (PPCP) is a colorless, non-flammable, non-reactive solid with no odor.
Polypropylene Copolymer (PPCP) is a bit softer but have better impact strength, is more durable than Homopolymer Polypropylene. Recently, Polymer blends have been produced by polymerization of the monomers directly in the reactor.
PPCP offers good thermal and mechanical properties and chemical resistance along with transparency. Polypropylene Copolymer is commonly used in packaging, textiles, stationery, plastic parts and reusable containers, laboratory equipment, automotive components, and polymer banknotes. PPCP is also used in raw material for plastic processing industry.
Applications:
Polypropylene Copolymer is widely used in various applications due to its good chemical resistance and weldability.
Good barrier properties, high strength and low cost make Polypropylene Copolymer ideal for several packaging applications include shrink-film overwrap, electronic industry films and graphic arts applications.
PPCP is used in several household products and consumer goods applications, including translucent parts, housewares, furniture, appliances, luggage, and toys.
Due to its low cost, outstanding mechanical properties, and moldability, Polypropylene Copolymer is widely used in automotive parts. Main applications include battery cases and trays, bumpers, fender liners, interior trim, instrumental panels, and door trims.
PPCP sheets are widely used in the industrial sector to produce acid and chemical tanks, sheets, pipes and other products because of its properties like high tensile strength, resistance to high temperatures, and corrosion resistance.
Storage:
Polypropylene Copolymer (PPCP) is a non-toxic and non-hazardous material and it’s over exposure by short term or long-term inhalation does not cause any harmful health effect. Keep PPCP in cool and well-ventilated place. Keep Polypropylene Copolymer away from heat and sunlight.
