It has a bright green shade of blue, and possesses high lightfastness and high resistance to acids, alkalis, heat, waxes, oils, solvents, and soaps. It is transparent, solvent-stable, has strong tinting strength, but is weaker than alpha forms of Phthalocyanine Blue. It is used in plastics, printing inks, coatings, rubber and fibers.

Organic Pigment is a non-toxic, odorless powder which is insoluble in water. Organic pigment is a class of insoluble organic compounds of. The so-called insolubility means that Organic Pigments have extremely small solubility in water and organic solvents.

Organic Pigments are usually brighter, stronger, and more transparent than Inorganic Pigments but are not as light resistant. Organic Pigments have small particle size and are lighter in weight than Inorganic Pigments. Since the particles float and, therefore, need a dispersion agent, Organic Pigments have resistance to wetting.

Organic Pigments also have fatness which give them a natural gloss. This type of pigment is transparent or semitransparent and have high tinting strength. Organic Pigments have less oil absorption, high coloring strength and strong hiding power.

Some properties of Organic Pigments such as bright color, good dispersion property, high tinting strength are not there immediately during the synthesis of this kind of compound and must be obtained through fine pigmentation processing steps. This kind of fine pigmentation processing technology is currently the major subject of the producers of Organic Pigment.

Uses:

Organic Pigments are mainly applied in the ink, printing industry, paint and coating, textile and leather, plastics and rubber products, construction materials and masterbatch. Pigments can provide many excellent performances such as color, durability, mobility and appropriate viscosity to the inks; as the coloring agents of plastics and synthetic fibers so that they have a beautiful color; in the rubber industry, it can be used as fillers and reinforcing agents. With different application conditions, the demands for the performance of the Organic Pigments are also different.

Storage:

Store Organic Pigment in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep container of Organic Pigment tightly closed and sealed until ready for use. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not store Organic Pigment in unlabeled containers.

Keep Organic Pigment away from incompatible materials. Avoid strong oxidizing agents such as peroxides, chlorates, perchlorates, nitrates, and permanganates.
