Titanium Dioxide R760

Titanium Dioxide R-760 is a multi-purpose Zirconium and Alumina coated rutile Titanium Dioxide pigment which is produced by Sulphate process. TiO2 R-760 is an odorless white powder with high opacity, brilliant whiteness, excellent covering power and resistance, good durability, easy dispersion, low oil absorption, high tint-reducing power and good chemical stability.

This white powder pigment is insoluble in water, but soluble in hot and concentrated strong Acid and Alkali.

Titanium Dioxide R-760 is a general-purpose rutile Titanium Dioxide that can be easily scattered, moistened or mixed with other resins. R-760 provides excellent weather resistance, hiding power, anti-chalking property and yellowing resistance in industrial paints, printing inks and different kinds of coatings.

Applications:

Titanium Dioxide R-760 is widely used in coatings, paints, paper, ink and printing industry, masterbatch, plastics and rubbers, leather as well as glass, ceramics, enamel making, etc.

In Paint Industry, R-760 is used as white pigment and glaze of porcelain and to produce high-class interior and exterior coatings, acid-catalysized coatings, durable powder coatings and solvent-based printing ink. In plastic industry TiO2 R-760 is used to produce plastics which require higher brightness and weatherability.

TiO2 R-760 can also be used as coating and filling in paper-making industry to produce high class paper and to help paper to be printable and opaque.

in metallurgical industry, Titanium Dioxide R-760 can be used to make spongy Titanium, alloy of Titanium and Iron and hard alloy, etc. R-760 can also be used in cosmetics and medicine.

Storage:

Keep Titanium Dioxide R-760 in a tightly closed container, at room temperature. Store R-760 in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep TiO2 R-760 away from incompatible substances. Titanium Dioxide R-760 is inflammable and no hazard expected in normal industrial use but constant exposure to this powder may cause eye, skin or respiratory tract irritation. R-760 can be used for a long time, if it is avoided to contact directly with moist environment.
